Deutschlandfunk transmitter on 6190 kHz has stopped operation.
Closing of some medium wave transmitters has been cancelled: Athens 981 kHz and Tripolis 1314 kHz are back on the air. Also Thessaloniki 1179 kHz is back, but carrying RSM 1, which was formerly on 1044 kHz.
AIR Kohima has reactivated 4850 kHz (reported closing at 1400) and 6065 kHz.
Spirit R. has started operation from Carrickroe on 549 kHz.
R. Orfey, Skt-Peterburg on 1125 kHz will be closed in the near future.
R. Rossii, Chita is reported inactive on 261 kHz.
The following MW transmitters have been reactivated: UR1: 936 kHz in Lviv between 0300-2100. UR2: 549 kHz in Kyiv, Lviv and Mykolaiv, 1242 kHz in Dokuchaievsk & 1377 kHz in Chernivtsi, all between 0300-2100. UR3: 1431 kHz in Mykolaiv between 0700-1900.
The following Ching Cha BS transmitters are planned to close in November: Taichung 702 kHz, Hualien/Ilan 990 kHz, Hsinchu/Kaohsiung 1116 kHz, Taitung 1125 kHz and Taipei 1260 kHz.
BR1 is carried on 1170 kHz between 0400-0700 and on 6080 kHz between 1430v-2100.
R. Senado has stopped operation on 5990 kHz.
R. Nac. da Amazônia is heard now on both 6180 and 11780 kHz approx. between 0700-0400, times variable.
R. Boa Vontade, Porto Alegre is active only on 9550 kHz, 6160 and 11895 kHz are inactive.
R. Caiari, Porto Velho is reported back on 4785 kHz.
R. Marumby 11725 kHz and Voz Missionária 11750 kHz are inactive.
CNR1 9900 kHz has been replaced by 9470 kHz.
CNR5 7620 kHz has been replaced by 7410 kHz between 0900-1705 and 7415 kHz between 2055-2400.

RRI Palu is reported back on shortwave on variable 3960-3967 kHz.
RAI Bologna (Budrio) transmitter on 567 kHz has been closed down.
A new regional radio station, Thazin Radio has started operation in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay acc. to the following schedule: 2330-0130 Burmese & 0130-0200 English on 639 & 6030 kHz, 0430-0630 English on 639 & 9460 kHz and 1030-1430 Burmese & 1430-1500 English on 639 & 7110 kHz.Transmissions in other major ethnic languages: 2330-0130 on 7110 kHz, 0130-0330 on 9590 kHz, 0430-0830 on 9590 kHz and 1030-1330 on 7345 kHz.
In addition to 1602 kHz, R. Seagull has started testing on 1395 kHz with about 2 kW between 0500-1700.
PAPUA NEW GUINEA
R. Fly, Kiunga has reactivated 3915 kHz while 5960 kHz is now inactive.
R. Lemma, Vladivostok has stopped operation on 783 kHz.
BSKSA General prgr. is reported on new frequency: 1449 kHz.
R. Veritas South Africa has started transmissions on 576 kHz with 50 kW.
R. Tuvalu is reported back with new transmitter on their MW frequency 621 kHz.
UR1/Reg, Verkhovyna has moved from 1584 to 1044 kHz. R. Khvylia, Vinnytsia 873 kHz has moved to 1377 kHz.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Ras al-Khaimah 1152 kHz 200 kW carries now Voice of Kerala ( radiovok.com ) between 0200-2100.
R. Algérienne has started a new youth network called Jil FM. It is transmitted on MW 531 and 549 kHz and FM 94.7 MHz.
All domestic shortwave and medium wave transmitters except are reported off the air, only 279 kHz is reported on and 1170 kHz for foreign service (R. Belarus & VOR) between 1600-2200.
BBS plans to operate with 100 kW on 5030 kHz and 50 kW on 6035 kHz between 0000-1400, but is off the air at the moment.
The following medium wave transmitters are planned to close: Malko Tarnovo 963 kHz & Kardjali 1296 kHz on 29th February and Varna 774 kHz, Stara Zagora 873 kHz & Kardjali/Shumen/Sofia 963 kHz on 30th September. Foreign service (and domestic 1st prgr.) transmitters are planned to close as follows: Petrich 747 kHz on 13 February and Vidin 1224 kHz on 31st May.
A new 600 kW transmitter in Ji’an is reported to have started operation on 1170 kHz with CNR1 programming.
Contrary to the information on p. 174, Praha Liblice transmitter on 639 kHz operates with full 1500 kW.
WDR DRM transmitter in Langenberg on 1593 kHz has been closed.
RTM Sarawak FM is heard on new 11630 kHz in parallel with 9835 kHz.
Myanma R. has been heard on variable new frequencies as follows: 2330-0130 on 7110&6030 kHz, 0130-0330 on 9590 kHz, 0330-0630 on 9460 kHz, 0530-0930 on 9590&7100 kHz, 1030/1130-1330/1430 on 7110/7345 kHz.
PBC has started a new 100 kW transmitter in Turbat on 981 kHz.
A new station: Aroma Café R, Pichanaki has been reported on 6060 kHz at 1100 and 2300.
A new station: DZIP R. Palaweño, Puerto Princesa has started operation on 864 kHz with 10 kW. Schedule: 2100-1300.
Yakutsk 6150 kHz is off the air.
SIBC is operating currently only on 5020 kHz between 1850-1200 and 9545 kHz is off the air.
Turkmen R. is inactive on 5015 kHz.
The transmitter in Kyiv on 783 kHz is reported off the air.
R. Vanuatu has 2 x 10 kW shortwave transmitters, operating currently on 3945 kHz between 1825-0035 & 0525-1230 and on 7260 kHz between 2125-0735. Times may vary. New web site is under construction at vanuatu2u.com .
